Thanks for your interest in donating to our team, we really appreciate it. Your donation will go miles – through the thick bush, along rocky shores, through knee deep mud, and up slippery slopes – probably late at night and in the rain!

We’ll use your donation to support the work our volunteers do – whether it keeps us warm and dry, our electronics lit up, or our spirits high. Past donations have paid for battery packs, warm hats, dry bags and much more.

We are beyond grateful to be one of the very few organizations in British Columbia that receives consistent funding through the Capital Regional District. Furthermore, the Province of British Columbia provides funding to groups throughout BC (link to press release.)  This covers about 50% of our funding needs and are targeted towards things like fleet management and operational logistics. It’s up to us to fundraise the remainder. Your support helps us go further in supporting our communities, and bringing people home.

Our current campaign – May 2024

Without our members, we wouldn’t exist. Our members give countless hours, often late at night and in inclement weather and we want to keep them happy/warm/dry. Right now, we are getting wet and soggy as our jackets have seen better days. We want warm, dry, happy members and this is where we need your help. To outfit our team with new jackets is no small feat and we need $50,000 to do it. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal. $1- $50k, any amount helps. You may never ever need our services and hopefully never do, but you can take pride in pointing out that you made a contribution. And if you want your own JDF jacket complete with your name on it, donate the full $50,000, we’ll make sure you get one!
